Pirates and Sirens
There were two pirates
Sailing the seas
Hunting for treasures
Terrorising those in their path
They talked about sex
Laughed about pain
Partied till the sun rose
There was a siren
Longing for romance
Only receiving companionship
Until she found a way
So she sang her manipulative song
Encasing one pirate in her trance
Creating false love
There now was a single pirate
Trudging through Hell
Searching for a purpose
Crying herself to sleep
Consumed by alcohol
Degrading her desired body
In hopes of regaining love
There once were two pirates
Who were the best of friends
It was obvious
That they were in love
But a siren sang
That manipulative song
And their love was no more
Sailing the seas
Hunting for treasures
Terrorising those in their path
They talked about sex
Laughed about pain
Partied till the sun rose
There was a siren
Longing for romance
Only receiving companionship
Until she found a way
So she sang her manipulative song
Encasing one pirate in her trance
Creating false love
There now was a single pirate
Trudging through Hell
Searching for a purpose
Crying herself to sleep
Consumed by alcohol
Degrading her desired body
In hopes of regaining love
There once were two pirates
Who were the best of friends
It was obvious
That they were in love
But a siren sang
That manipulative song
And their love was no more
