 Im getting older and I know its true love that im missing
Ive yelled it from a mountain and stood up there listening
The voices I hear, harder to distinguish almost daily
Is it my echo returning? or is it you've come to save me?
Is it your soul, disimbodied, come to answer my moan?
Surely not your character to leave me up here alone
In any case Im glad to have heard your loving call
Even if imaginary, the fact of it being there at all
Its given me the strength within to continue
rekindling the feelings almost lost, but I knew
this mountain wasnt as cold in that moment
