"Too young to die"

They say the good die young , who would have known it was your fate to die by a gun ~ You were all too young just beginning to grow , now the only thing left is your names in stone ~ Life taken too soon because of a senseless act of violence , not even knowing what death was now your voices forever silenced ~ All children too young ages 6 through 7 , guess you were planted on earth just to bloom in heaven ~ God made these sweet children to never grow old , made smiles of sunshine molded hearts pure of gold ~ These losses they just seem so wrong , but the innocent shall be in the presence of the creator where you belong ~ Now it's time the farewell words have been spoken , time to say goodbye leaving us all heart broken ~ They say the good die young and I believe that's the truth , but when you don't know what death is your too young to die in your youth ~ B.
