To The Boy I Haven't Met Yet
Sometime,Somewhere
I'll write a poem to a boy
Too far away to hear my voice
As I scream his name
Into the shadows left behind
By those who wore his face
We haven't met yet
But I know I'll recognize him
When we do meet
My skin will tingle with familiarity
Of a dream worth dreaming
Of a thought I can't stop thinking
Of two people whose past is so intertwined
I must have bumped into you
A million times
Before I recognized
Love at first sight
I'll write a poem to a boy
Too far away to hear my voice
As I scream his name
Into the shadows left behind
By those who wore his face
We haven't met yet
But I know I'll recognize him
When we do meet
My skin will tingle with familiarity
Of a dream worth dreaming
Of a thought I can't stop thinking
Of two people whose past is so intertwined
I must have bumped into you
A million times
Before I recognized
Love at first sight
