Apologies

 If I ever let you down, in some way I cant see,

my apologies, all I can be is me.

Sometimes I'm an asshole, and such is true for you,

But forgive me cause I know not what I do.

I'm just a simple soul looking for a piece of mind,

Looking for a Shooting Star I just cant seem to find.

My apologies, but what you see is always Me,

My Love and Hate shown proudly on my sleeve.

And I know that It's not always me you need,

My apologies, thats all that I can be.

I know that I'm not perfect and I never was before,

But I can be Me perfectly, nothing less and nothing more.

Just try to understand that I try so hard for you,

I try to be the one you need and want to hold on to.

It's just sometimes I get caught up in my own selfish need,

And I dont see half of the things you try to show to me.

My apologies, but what you see is always me,

My Love and Hate always conflicting things.  

I know I'm not the song you always want to sing,

My apologies, I try so hard to be.

I know sometimes I push too much when I should pull,

Pushing you away instead of showing you your fool.

But try and understand it's not something I  mean to do,

I'd never knowingly put distance between me and you.

I just want to show you all these things that I cant say,

But every time I try they all just come out the wrong way.

 My apologies, I only wanted you to see,

 That without you I am nothing, not me.

 Without you all the Beauty in this world could never be.

 My apologies, I never thought you'd be my everything.
