Its Just A Dream
As she sits in the rain.
She's drench in her own pain.
Looking out in the distance.
Seeing nothing but rain.
It hits her a thousand times.
Again and again.
She closed her eyes.
She started to visualize.
All the good times she had
before he died.
She cries as time past by.
Wishing she could see him one
last time.
Rain hitting her body like bullets.
She cries harder.
Hugging herself wishing she could
feel his touch.
Rain rolling down her cheeks replacing
tears.
When she looks up it disappears.
A flash of light appears.
She rubs her eyes.
Confused.
She looks around as she see him lying on
the ground.
A car in the distance is crashed.
She touches his face.
A warm hand to a cold face.
She cries.
He looks up at her.
His hand moving slowly to her face.
He touched it.
She moved her face down to look at him.
Staring up at her he tells her "I Love You."
She pressed her face against his hand and says
it back.
He tells her to close her eyes.
So she did.
He kissed her and hugged her tight.
When she opened them a flash of light.
It was just a dream.
She's drench in her own pain.
Looking out in the distance.
