Deadly Bird
Once upon a time
When the world was shed with tears
Our darkest shadows
Lingered over our deepest fears
The strength of hatred
Took over our minds
Love was there
But we were too blind
Every gun that fired
Every scream that was heard
All celebrated as victory
From the song of the Deadly Bird
Every heart turned to stone
Eyes can only see cold
Desperate chills take over your bones
Watching self destruction unfold
Trust no one
Or you might get killed
Brothers and sisters gone
And all your doors are sealed
You are the one that's different
You know it's all absurd
But the only thing you've ever learned
Is the song of the Deadly Bird
When the world was shed with tears
Our darkest shadows
Lingered over our deepest fears
The strength of hatred
Took over our minds
Love was there
But we were too blind
Every gun that fired
Every scream that was heard
All celebrated as victory
From the song of the Deadly Bird
Every heart turned to stone
Eyes can only see cold
Desperate chills take over your bones
Watching self destruction unfold
Trust no one
Or you might get killed
Brothers and sisters gone
And all your doors are sealed
You are the one that's different
You know it's all absurd
But the only thing you've ever learned
Is the song of the Deadly Bird
