A PERSPECTIVE I LACK I WRITE FROM IT HERE

When you were something new
And beautiful
You struck me with awe then envy
So I struck you with a knife
(teddy bear)

When you were something aged
And ugly, no good

You struck me with sadness, dilapidated, heavy
So I tried to find your scar
(teddy teddy)

I'm dead when I did that
My brother's birthday present
Resentment washed me drowned on shore
Down and out in Texas
Up from the books my eyes rise to see:

There is more to the world than letters
Arrangements,
So sexy fine
There's more to the world than foxy girls
Arrangements,
For sexy times

There was a man who is a boy he stared at me
With knife in hand, my hand, which shaked
I stared back at him and his eyes
I shaked and shooked behind the door
Of the bathroom in the dark

I'm there,
On my little brother's birthday
More than foxy girls
I'm there,
Right there
When I stabbed his teddy birthday present
Resentment in our eyes
We've perspective after all.
