Behold the night, child.  
 
Thou hast been cast out  
from the world of life into  
this endless gloom.  
 
Darkness that obscures  
all. Shapes and hideous  
forms of the void.  
 
Eyes that can see in the  
dark fooled by translucent  
creatures of the night.  
 
Beware of sinking to deep  
and become as they, child.  
 
Then you are truly lost.
