Twisted Fairy Tale
Frozen in the middle of my maze,
My heart, soul, and mind,
All three interwoven in a braid,
Cracked and crumbling,
Broken ice like shattered glass,
Glitter in the sun but do not melt.
Knights try in vain to reach me,
Hacking chunks in my maze,
The thorns and branches,
Continuously grow back,
And they either die,
Or give up.
I'm warning you because it's my fault,
I don't want another to die at my wrath,
Or fall into my misery,
Psst, listen, don't love me,
Go back home to your princess,
The monster of my mind might otherwise eat you.
At the end of these stories,
It ends in true love,
Welcome to my twisted fairy tale,
No more happy endings,
Love is a pointless word,
So don't attempt my maze.
