Frozen Wonderland

When the snow  begins to fall,
lay on your back and let the flakes
gather all around you.
Feel them melt upon your face and skin.
Breath in the cold winter air,take a deep breath.
Close your eyes and take in all that is around you.
I want you to use all your senses,absorb everything around you.
Listen to the noises of the earth.
Car honking,tree limbs blowing knocking in to one another,
people chattering,the wind rushing through your spine,doves cooing,press your ear against the ground.
Smell the scents of the earth.
Sunshine bursting through the clouds,gingerbread baking,pine trees,rosemarry,mint,sage,cinnamon,hot chocolate.
See the creations of the earth.
Icecles dangling all around,frozen ponds,frozen bodies of water,people ice skating,baking,birds cuddling one another,warm bodies pressed against one another,snowflakes falling.
Taste the surfaces of the earth.
Lick the snow,baked goods,cocoa,ice,maple candy,tree sap,gingerbread,candy canes,ginger chai tea,oranges.
Feel the textures of the earth.
Pack the snow in your hands,let your body go numb,hot apple cider,paper tree bark,let an icelce melt in the palm of your hand,the treamors of the earth,clouds in the sky,branches of the trees.
The earth is all around you.
