Journey Pt. 1

I sat alone in the endless sea of sands. Hearing nothing but the whispers of the winds
and feeling the gentle tugging of the sands, I was unmoving.
I was waiting, waiting for the calls of the unknown.
Suddenly I heard it past the hill with scarfs and three tablets.
I rose to my feet, breaking free from those warm gentle hands. I walked to the hill
of divine light and reached it's peak to find a summit where the calling told me to come.

Staring out into the waves of shifting sands and buried secrets I walked towards the mountain, meeting strange creatures as I did. These creatures made of cloth, defying the existence they should have, swam through the air paying no attention to me. Untill I came in contact with a strange glowing symbol, they reacted to my scarf. My body felt light and I soared through the air to find ruins past the waves of sand. Looking to the fragments of the forgotten past, I was confused. The statue I saw seemed somehow familiar. As I edged closer a glowing circle appeared. Once I stepped into the circle I was engulfed by a light. Glyphs appeared floating around me and a obscure figure stood staring to me. One step I took and a vision of how these ruins came to be filled my mind. When the light subdued a gate behind the statue opened, I was ready to move forward.

I ran along the walls of the ruined temple to see the summit and broken bridge that stood in my way. Looking to the sparkling sands that rippled like water I saw something dancing in a playful manner. Soon it spotted me and rushed towards me, playful hovering over me. He then came down and stared into my soul and he knew we both had the same intention. He began dancing around me ever so playfuly. This had been the first time I've ever encountered something like this and this was to be my companion. Together we flew above the sands touching and restoring each of the torn silk reaching to the sky. Hundreds of the cloth creatures flew from the gates like birds from there're cages and the bridge was restored in the form of a red silk carpet. Me and my companion glided across the newly restored bridge to be greeted by another glowing circle. We looked to each other and together stepped into the light. The light wasn't as harsh as it was and the figure appeared again. We stared to each other, me curiosity, him hope. The figure given me another vision of what looked to seem they tried to harness the unknown mysteries of these cloth creatures.
The light subdued again and I stood looking to the sandfall revealing a path behind it. I walked with intention to go alone but my playful companion hurried to my side. I gazed into his eyes seeing the flare of adventure in his heart, something my own heart lacked. I think I want to know just how far he's willing to go...
