This Poem Will KILL You

Plagued by your disillusion,
Life seems to slip away.
Caught up psychotic,
Sensibility starts to fade.
This is the final stage.
Out of breath and out of time.
You watched as it bled.
You watched as it died.
Poetic the way you suffer,
Giving in to the undivine.
After all is lost,
It’s only a matter of time.

Now that you have seen the truth;
All your pain was caused by you.
You can charge into the night,
Kill the pain and end your fight.
You will not cry nor will you scream,
Once you've slipped deeply into sleep.
And realized it all a dream,
Accept the world you have been deemed.

One chance for absolution.
A lifetime of meaningless life.
You beg for control,
But run from the light.
Never was a promise you made,
Truly what it was made to be.
You lied to yourself,
To keep your sanity.
So now on the run,
From what you do not know.
The anger is mounting up,
Causing you to explode.
Lash out against all that you love;
Who the fuck have you become?
Never will you know peace;
The damage has been done.

God has left your deceitful side,
Leaving you to your own demise.
Knowing now you're out time,
You try to run but cannot hide.
Seeing this may have caused your fall,
But it was you who made the call-
To live a life of solitude,
And look at where it’s gotten you.

You gambled with life,
And now suffocate.
