death be merciful

Death be merciful to my soul,
The inner turmoil has taken it's toll,
Taunting thoughts of suicidal death,
Counts down the minutes to my last breath,

The darkness of the underworld seems kind,
Compared to the confined room in my mind,
I have no desire whatsoever to return,
As each Christian condemned my soul to burn,

Mother, kiss my forehead and say good-bye,
Now it's all revealed, the discomfort in every lie,
Your questions will bring you to terms,
That my corpse, peacefully and sorrowful, was earned,

The wage of a few month's work,
Of torture, negligence and soul tearing deeds,
In this world the villain managed to succeed,
Behind every involved face, a deathly evil lurks,

Mother, you'll search for them till death,
And take grief as an accessory to your grave,
You'll depend on faith, mother to set you free,
But death will do for you as it has done for me.

Death be merciful.
