this poem was
meant for you
would my words be
more than words
on a page?

if i told you
that i loved you
would you tell me
you can't say that
or relish in
the notion of
what my words
have set in motion?

i'll have no regrets
for what i may say
i have so much love
to give away
so tell me
please tell me
these words mean
more to you than
just words
on a page
