How long has it been, 2 weeks or 2 years? I understand if you don't know.
For time in the shadows is all I have, seeing light only as your stepping stone.
A whipping post at times, beaten, bloody and maimed.
Whereas others I simply don't exist, faceless and without name.
My flesh will rot upon my bones, not even waiting for me to die.
I long without exhaustion to be a part of your world, though I fail with every try.
I am imprisoned by this freedom; an X factor without an equation.
