The Rhythm

broken hearts

still beat
                                         their disconjointed

          rhythm

one half beats

                            then the other
or quarter maybe

                                            depending on

          your injury

But

        broken hearts
         still beat
because something

still has to spread
the poison.

i like that last line it really say's something about the person who wrote this poem. it shows that no matter how much your heart hurts it is still beating.
