Just In Case

I made a commitment to myself. I was coming down off a strangley revealing ecstacy high (one white ying yang) where everything seemed to float effortlessly together in my head. Starting Septemeber first, I was going to live like 2012 really is the end of the world. Make no mistake- I don't truly invest in an apocolyptic prophecy; but I find that it's an intresting opportunity to push myself. Tie up all the loose ends, make good on all my promises, admit everything I've been thinking but have been too shy to say. Becuase believe it or not, even someone who doesn't think twice about wearing plaid knee high socks with her yellow poncho or being the only one on the dancefloor can sometimes get very shy. Petrfyingly shy. There are some things I want so dearly, I respect so highly, that they can be hard to face. But in the next four months I am stepping up my game. In only three days since this idea first entered my head everything seems to have intensified. Even the strangers I've met have had a profound effect. I've come to learn if you are a vigiliant enough student, anything can be your teacher. If I really only had four months left I would want to experience every last fibre of this world and learn every lesson that was offered. Love every person that passes me on the street, and if we pass often I'm sure to love you even more. I would only feed myself food that was energizing, quit smoking cigarettes, and blaze often. I would play music every morning, make art every day, and dance every night. So I figure I'll give it a whirl. And whats the harm? You know-just in case.
