Taken from my home
and caged.
Chained to listless walls
and barren floors
in empty buildings,
of echos and sorrow
lost in a home that is not my own
trapped in someone elses life

Jailed in a room with no windows
and a door that swings in.
I have locked myself in a pit of snakes
venemous or non

There's no blood for them to take.
