heart broken

Its very hard to hear my boyfriend call you crying saying '' we need to break up '' .
But it an off gaurd all of a sudden thing when it happend..
Like once your talking about how much you love him and how much he makes you happy.. he calls at the most off gaurd moment and says ''we need to break up, I dont want you disappointed'' that made my heart fall to my knees.. it was a shocking moment cuz at school he called me during lunch saying how happy he was... then it hit me at 5:30 pm... I dont know what to do anymore... :'(
