Desperation
Being brainwashed with societal fallacies..
In these days without reprieve,
I WANT to WANT everything.
And I HATE,
..so passionately,
..this wicked emotion,
..this forsaken greed.
Did you know..
It’s useless to get to this stage?
Where Hopelessness meets defeat
..of longing Desperation
..of desirous (or is it delirious) Desperation,
..so pungent,
..undulating,
..with serrated breathing.
I more than crave,
..the sunlight,
..the moon,
..the air,
..the food.
I more than yearn for comfort..
In our kisses, our hugs, our sex
I
Just
Want
MORE
More than impulses
More than need
More than human conversation
More than creeds
Did you know..
There is no coming back from this stage?

There is nothing left here..
But an empty vessel of superficial need,
Feeding on fictional fumes of dreams,
..waiting to end every thought on what I cannot have
..nothing earthly can satiate this uncontrollable feeling
..for what is LIFE when you are desperate for DEATH
I just cannot get rid of this bloodlust to end which is mine.

A belief shared by many is that society attempts to wash out any trace of feeling. The one feeling that is often honored is greed. So perhaps the subject in this poem is not a far out of the societal norms as it my first seem...

Let me just say.. i dont want to die. i thought that i might have given that depiction.
yes some people do want to wash away any trace of feeling especially greed. The subject is quite on point in that in our 'bloodlust' we often forget .. maybe not bc we want to but bc its hard to maintain, or its more overwritten ... that having and Keep balance in ourselves preserves our mental health. We get too caught up in what we think we want and we become desperate to have it whatever 'it' is.
