Thoughts

My head's pounding
As I dig into the ground it's slowly unveiling
The thoughts I thought had been lost in some other thought
Never did I think I'd sought
Out to find them
Looking to remember them
Now I do
And I feel like a hammer to a screw
It won't work
And all that comes is hurt
And I can't stop it
At this point I'm not even shocked by it
It's just here
Sitting on a mad chair
A thought that I'd never thought I'd have sought
But now it's open under the light
And it's so wrong but so right
The thought of thoughts
I once had thought
To think away thoughts that had only brought
Pain and withered and wrought
Now it's just an everyday thought
Never again to be sought
Left in the dark
Hidden from the heart
Just another lost thought
Lost in the thoughts of many other thoughts to be lost
These thoughts that I thought
Only bring more thought
To be lost in bleak thought
Underestimated by their own thought
Once sought now being wrought
Out of my mind with these thoughts
Only to reoccur in other sought thoughts
Brought up by random thoughts
They won't go away these thoughts
And though I thought of everything I could to think away these thoughts
They never stop
Will you think away my thoughts?
