Longing For The Garden Night

Cool and quiet,
the summer air has languished with the sunset,
and we we're left with out stretched arms waiting for the new wine.
Welcoming change as if greener grass
would bring us unspeakable pleasures.
Our thoughts are forever brooding and brewing,
as memories last forever in celestial and demonic eternity.

Secrets will keep.
As long as we remember who we are,
and what meaning a promise can bring.
Lines drawn in the sand,
a foot crosses and breaks views.
With transgression admitted the secret is out,
and I watch her gentle grace for the last time.
She dips feet, delicate and bare into the spring.
I am caught, simple and unaware without song to sing.

This once was spring is now an ocean,
with madness mixed in, I am left to swim.
Devil, hovering above.
Together, forever,
together, forever.
Left for a view, filing in the other people.
We'll meet them later, perhaps in the sequel.

Your friend was gonna swap you're tickets all along.
The betrayal has left oneself empty and vast.
The moon doth shines, as bright as Satan's jewel.
The one left so beautiful to gaze upon,
and forbidden to touch.
As my sweet mother's trees decay and wither away,
I long for summer nights, brilliant and vibrant.
Alas,
I have finished my glass.
