A Vampyre’s Enquiries
The endless hunger begins to consume
Longing for the taste of sweet flesh
But the question is from whom
Who will satisfy my immortal hunger?
The eternal thirst overwhelms
Yearning for a sip of the finest crimson delight
But the question is where I will find it amid these realms
Who will quench my everlasting thirst?
Countless will be bitten
Flesh will be torn and blood will be shed
But all will be forgotten
These habits, will I ever cease?
Will I ever reach satisfaction?
Will my teeth ever sink into the right victim?
Out, will this curse ever be driven?
This knowledge, I lack, but utterly long for
This piece is something I would not normally write for two reasons. It is not as descriptive as some of my other pieces, and the subject is not my typical choice... The first stanza popped in my head and I thought that I should go along with it and see where I ended up.
