Numerical hearts
Categorized with serial numbers
When emotions become currency in binding transactions
Money scams at the cost of sentiment
For paper hearts and broken memories
And break the juxtaposition between love and hate
Senses demoralized,
Numbed down by a corporate America.
Love bought not won
Relationships signed with ink not blood
And before you know it love is on…..sale.
