Grandma's House

*(Poem I wrote for my friends info on her online community)*

Once upon a time in a land not so far,
Lived a very wise old woman otherwise known as Grandma.

Being from East London was a tough spirit and full of knowledge,
always entertained a full house of guests in her tiny cottage.

Grandma's many stories of knowledge would be told, and in the mean time debates, fashion, food, music would unfold.

On an old turn table span the sounds of her youth playing memories back, she dreamt fondly of her past so it would not fade to black.

She valued her years and often told the young who were still not quite free, "If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree."

Content and fulfilled with life and so much to pass on and more,
To give, to nurture, to live for.

As the sound of her welcomely doors open ,
the tea cosy pops on and her  rocking chair begins its motion.

Grandma's house welcomes you to join in the artistic, debatable, musical and profound online community towards the past and faster into the future.
