Alabaster

Iron-clad gates expand and the lucency of broad sunshine pour
A restoring sight though lacking a draft
Long awaited, it seems, as ashes of man and pyre still permeate
Barbarously, beyond the walls, they salivate
Bound, tied, and strapped
Yellow eyes sadistically sinister, they guide through the door

The stench of this place, this death and hell abhor
A bereft face behind a desk grants entree
Hugged by belts and chains
Prismatic chemicals for my veins
To what vice am I guilty?
Forcibly hung in fear as they once were

Now I arrive as they have craved
Ascending sunlight unable to pierce their souls
Only their teeth to pierce my flesh
That for which they tear and thresh
Gathering guts and ripping holes
Dissected apart and enslaved

To the day I smell of rot
Harvested organs and rich, curdling blood
Stitched, righted skin adhering to the walls
Smeared and pasted about the halls
When the deadbolt snaps, the gore will flood
To coat you benighted lot
