Is it possible?

The body is visceral and it knows what it wants.  It sometimes will see reason and communicate with the brain.  The heart is an irrational fool that never consults with any other part of your being.  How is it possible to get the brain, body, and heart moving in the same direction?  Is it even possible?  Two people in my life convinced me at one point that it was.  The first left me hurting in the end.  The second leaves me in a constant state of confusion.  One day it's option A with him.  The next it's option B.  I'm not sure if he knows what he wants or if he is just unwilling to cause the pain he knows the first caused me.  All I can do is wait and see what he chooses.  How long am I supposed to wait?
