Last Night
She walked out last night
He watched her closely
She walked over to the stream
He captures her beauty
She looks in the water
He catches his breath
She sees his shadow and looks up
He hides in the dark
"Who's there?" She asks
He stays hidden
"Come out" She demands
He steps out slowly
She looks at him surprised
"Hello" He says embarrased
"Hello" She says quietly
"I'm sorry I startled you" He says
"Who are you?" She asks
"Doesn't matter" He replies and turns away
"Please, I want to know" She says
"I have to go" He replies
He starts to walk away and she grabs his hand
"Please don't go" She pleads
He turns toward her
"What do you want?" She whispers
He moves closer, looking deep into her eyes
She looks at him
"This" He says gently kissing her
She looks at him surprised
"I'm sorry" He whispers starting to turn away
She lightly grabs his hand
"It's fine" She says
"I love you" He tells her
"I love you too" She replies smiling
Last night
Two lonely broken hearts
Found each other
He watched her closely
She walked over to the stream
He captures her beauty
She looks in the water
He catches his breath
She sees his shadow and looks up
He hides in the dark
"Who's there?" She asks
