The Dark Past and Clear Future

A girl who loves a guy with all her heart;she was very smart
He took advantage of her and treated her like crap
She put up with it and loved but feared he would snap
He would continue to be mean and not even care
When he would yell or hit her thats usually where she was scared
She still loved him but was so depressed
How could it turn out to be this huge mess?

Alone and scared she confided to the only person who she trusted... Her best friend
Crying every night trying to escape that dangerous grip her boyfriend had on her; she finally snapped

He tried to cut off communication to keep her under his control
She faught desperately not wanting to give up her only friend
She knew if something didnt change their friendship would end
She ran away from home to her best friends house
The boyfriend snuck over and made things bad
Then, tears reformed and she began to cry
The boyfriend and the best friend faught for her attention
The boyfriend lost and ran away
She still was damaged from all the words he said
But, the best friend knew that they were together again.
