Why are you everywhere?
Everywhere I am,
your name appears.
My first thought
is always of you.
Everywhere I look,
I see your face.
I’m always disappointed.
It’s never you.
Everywhere I go,
your non-existent presence
haunts me
from the interiors of my mind.
Everywhere, anywhere,
I am thinking of you,
trying to figure out why
my thoughts are stuck on you.
I have this longing inside of me, but
I can’t tell if it’s for you.
I can’t understand myself, so
someone, please, tell me what I’m supposed to do…
