Night Terror
When you can't sleep you count the sheep,
I see them in your eyes.
When you dream you shout and scream,
I hear it in your sighs.
Off light switch.
Muscle twitch.
Clammy palm.
Face so calm.
Eyelid tremor.
Your night terror.
Forget your fear...
Because I'll be here.
You'll forget where you were when you start to stir,
Because I'll kiss you 'til you wake.
Your memory will clear when you realise I'm near,
Your night terror, I'll take.
