It Started With A Thought (poem 1 of It Started With...trilogy)

Her name rang threw the room
Then it started with no doom

A thought sprung and I knew
That it would be you

You who could fix me
That you were the one to see

You gripped me tight threw the tears
And fought away my greatest fears

Even secretly when I fell apart
You were there from the start

When I even talk to you the bad disappears
Even the things that once shot me down like spears

Though over the past 3 years you still stay
You still grip my hand and promise to never go away

Your my best friend and I love you
I have no idea what I'd do without you

And who would have guessed...it started with a thought
