If love were blood
I would bleed the ocean red
Despite all your fantasies
it has never been led
I harness it inside an organ
to stabilize the flow
Otherwise, of course, I would
be without control
Sadly, I have drowned people
Girls who I smothered to much
They had to leave me behind
when they started coughing up blood
I have learned from my mistakes
but still I overflow
She was the one who saved me
but now she has let go
