Dark Place
Lost in my sorrows
Drownding in tears
Waking to nightmares
Living my fears
The blade cuts away all the sorrow and pain
Im losing it all
Theres nothing to gain
The touch of the blade sends me to a dark place
I can breath freely here
Theres nothing but space
I feel happy here
But how can that be?
The bliss that i feel
Its inside of me
Suddenly back to the sorrow and hate
I lay in dead silence accepting my fate
But ill never forget how i reached my sweet bliss
To find darkness and quiet Just one cold sharp kiss

Most times, the dark places we deem are our way out, is fear and weakness diverse plan to fail. Sweet bliss always lives within us....finding it is the key! Well written! :-)

You are a talented poet. There are a couple of words I would take out but still it is a real good poem and expresses an emotion quite well. I will read more of your work.
