Rhapsody of a St. Tropez Muse in Summer

Rhapsody of a St. Tropez Muse in Summer

Dream logic unlocked
In radiant tresses of ruby fire
Burning a path across my retina
Like Beaujolais wine on a summer day in St. Tropez
Poured across milky breasts
When heaven cannot wait to disrobe
The pre-exhibition drapery of an artist
Whose brushstrokes unveil the maiden hues
Of beachside beauty seated on the throne of the Goddess
A model of womanhood playing the harp
Divan warmed by the inner fires
Of her corporeal form reclined in majesty
With the luster of a pearlescent heat
That haunts the painter on his chair
As his model unfolds her wonder
Beheld in a moment of sacred chant
From birds in the eaves
As they sing praises
To the muse of their music
