Awake

buddhamind is here to find
with each conscious breath -
Inhalation, exhalation
repeated until death

a chance to know, a chance to grow
within the flowing stream
of neverending thinking
of memories and dreams -

in between and all around
living life goes on
awake in this reality
is where we each belong

not in the past,  which doesn't last
but fades and fades away
and what will be we cannot see,
Just here right now today

inhalation, exhalation
rhythmic pulsing breath
is the key to be freed
while there's still breath left...
