A knock on my door 
Brought a smile to my face
Because I knew once it was open
I'd be bound in your embrace

I wanted so dearly
To taste your lips
But I knew if I waited
The sensation would be more intense 

There we are silently on the bed
I stare into your beautiful emerald eyes
And think to myself how lucky I am
That you are the reason I am mesmerized

Time passed on with tickling and talking
Then I finally get my breathtaking kiss
You always seem to strike at the perfect moment
And as always im filled with bliss

All this is splendid until that last second
When we heard the car come up the drive we knew you had to go
And as we exchanged one last embrace
We both said I love you and in your eyes it showed.
