How you get to Carnegie Hall

The problem with being a ghost is  
you see everything  
and there’s not a damn thing  
you can do about any of it  
 
It’s just an endless series  
of changing weather patterns  
and orbital rotations  
 
while I dine on empty time  
 
the only consolation is  
when my body and soul  
decide to end their tenuous partnership  
I think its going be a smooth transition  
 
so I got that going for me
