What is a Thought Cabinet?
It is where the mind bottles the sludge of its reckonings.
Where drunken aspiration meets the austerity of fruitless striving.
Where ambition is tempered in the fires of failure, and resentment bubbles like carbonated rosemary beads.
It is the disarray that trauma wrecked, prized as ornaments or displayed in agonised crucifixion.
It is the hole that some ragged thing has crawled to.
It is a strange idea that cornerlessly yields to logic.
