You’ve had a taste
Of my razor blade tongue
Left shredded and bloodied
Barely standing
Your pleas for peace
Wafting in the air
Alongside your white flag
I agreed to
A cease fire
Words remained unsaid
Promises unmade
Deeds unsung
Lingered
In the destruction
I gritted my teeth until my jaw broke
I’ve outgrown your
Kind of kindness
Your type of guilt
Nice doesn’t fit me anymore
I’m taking back my blade
Watch your back
Of my razor blade tongue
Left shredded and bloodied
Barely standing
Your pleas for peace
Wafting in the air
Alongside your white flag
I agreed to
A cease fire
Words remained unsaid
Promises unmade
Deeds unsung
Lingered
In the destruction
I gritted my teeth until my jaw broke
I’ve outgrown your
Kind of kindness
Your type of guilt
Nice doesn’t fit me anymore
I’m taking back my blade
Watch your back
