The Waiting Stage of Love

Fresh and bright,
Bathed in morning light,
Soft with dew, it lingers.

Then comes heat
A hunger rising slow,
Wild desires set ablaze.

Flames arise,
Love and lust entwined,
Consuming, twisting, curling .

Only ash remains,
Soft in tender shades,
Fragrance turned to smoke.

Howling winds arise, so free,
Carrying the cravings
through the land and oceans

Now I'm the love
Everywhere
Finding hearts in endless ways.
