Visions of You

Visions consumed my thoughts,  
Intoxicating my mind  
With utopian figments of you,  
Flickering in the dark.  
   
Of your tender hands against my skin,  
Like silken brushstrokes.  
Earning every inhale I draw in,  
With your amber essence,  
Heavenly dulcet as honey,    
A balm kissing down my every scar  
To quell its tears.  
While igniting a sea of flames  
Beneath my aching flesh  
With every fingerprint you leave behind.  
   
I am set ablaze,  
Craving your sedate touch,  
Yet when I open my eyes    
To drown in the waves of your gaze,  
All I see are these visions of you,  
Fading into a wisp of haze.
