Red Thorn of Gold
In crimson red thorn of gold
of petals soft and old
shadows dance
enchanted by grace
time cannot erase
lost within a dream
echoing memories of past
fading fast
shadows wrap in silken lace
so tender and clear
of my love held dear
in every grail thorn, I knew
as it wilts
a ghost begins to rise
body of rose cloaked inside
