I see it in your eyes, that quiet storm,
The way the shadows twist, the way they form.
You wear the weight like I’ve worn mine,
A burden carved in every line.
And though I’m lost, I can’t look away—
I want to pull you from the gray.

Even in this hollow place,
You’re the only thing that feels like grace.

You mean more than you’ll ever know,
In a world so cold, you’re the only glow.
Though I’m drowning, I’ll find a way
To keep you safe from the dark decay.
I don’t care if it pulls me through—
