The Next Idea

Here I go again
Throwing words around
I only ever get it right
Maybe 10% of the time
And it makes me wonder why I try
Sometimes anyway
Other times I'm just like every other poet on here
Just working hard and hoping against hope
That the next toss of the alphabet
Will be something that I can be proud of
If not I'll wonder how I could possibly fuck up
Such a surefire idea
And then get excited all over again
When I have the next one
Ah, a life with words
And emotions
It gives me an idea for a poem
