Christmas morning

Christmas morning

It's Christmas morning i searched under the Christmas tree but you were nowhere to be found, so I thought it might be a festive game of hide n seek so I began to look around

You weren't in the living room so the kitchen was my next choice, I stood silently for a while hoping that I might get to hear your voice

I peeped into the wardrobes I moved the clothes right out the way, I knew you weren't in Narnia the wardrobe backs were solid and definitely built to stay

Not in where I hang my coat your weren't in the coat closet by the outside door, it's been nearly an hour already but still I rack my brain for more

Finally I'm at the bathroom you must be hiding in the shower, I pulled back the curtain laughing thinking to myself you've been waiting in for an hour

No it was empty it seems Santa didn't bring me my Christmas wish, I wasted time writing letters and buying Mistletoe hoping for a kiss

So I wandered back to my empty bed alone at Christmas sad and not been kissed, I guess Santa decided I wasn't getting you and left me on his naughty list
