you never thought to check

You think i would never,
Do my self harm,
You think that i would never,
Slit my arm.

"I'm fine" I say,
So you don't suspect,
I promised you,
But you never thought to check.

There are several scars,
I didn't know what to do,
You don't know however,
every ones for you.

Its okay though,
Now I've promised someone new,
She's different,
Doesn't give me pain like you.

Im sorry my dear,
I did break my promise,
If you could feel my pain,
You'd understand what the reason is.

Please don't  be mad,
I hope you can see,
