Truth stands above

Step by step inch by inch
Noose tightening around my neck

Thread by thread
Strand by strand
Feel the pressure

Closing in tight as a vice
World around me is sinking in

Step to the Lord to argue my case
My lies leave me nothing
but blank thoughts

Don’t have a leg to stand on
My urge is to rage on
Spouting falsities
Hope it sets me free

How about some distraction
To play on my fiction
 
Earth is flat
Mars is blue

Anything to escape the
Shackles of my sins

Or my day on the judgement stand
I’ll say any or everything

A little diddy for you
Orange lies don’t come true

As I pick up the rhythm
Orange lies keep goin on

A fake pillar of piety
Takes the stand will he tell the truth
Or hide behind his title

Nero fiddles
As Rome burns
This land has stood for too long
To let heathens hold the seat
