I Should've
I should’ve never saw your face
and smiled
I should’ve never looked
into those dark eyes and lusted
I should’ve never liked your mouth,
that smile or the kiss thick with spice
I should’ve never liked your hands
Warm to the touch soft and slow across my skin
I should’ve never open to you
The rich fertile garden that few others knew
I should’ve never given my heart away
To a heartless man like you
I should’ve never let you raise a hand
To disrespect me too
I should’ve called the police
when you left me on the floor
I should’ve never stayed
To be a victimized again
I should have
Walked away the day
I first saw your face
But I’m walking now
I should’ve left you your keys
and smiled
I should’ve never looked
into those dark eyes and lusted
I should’ve never liked your mouth,
that smile or the kiss thick with spice
I should’ve never liked your hands
Warm to the touch soft and slow across my skin
I should’ve never open to you
The rich fertile garden that few others knew
I should’ve never given my heart away
To a heartless man like you
I should’ve never let you raise a hand
To disrespect me too
I should’ve called the police
when you left me on the floor
I should’ve never stayed
To be a victimized again
I should have
Walked away the day
I first saw your face
But I’m walking now
I should’ve left you your keys
